After the filming of the film Germinal, the team of actors composed of Gérard Depardieu, Claude Berri, Renaud and Miou Miou decided to offer a brewery as a thank you. After a few years, and to preserve the fascinating history of this brewery in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, Jean-Luc Butez, beer importer, decides to take over the reins in order to perpetuate the know-how while bringing his personal touch. As these elements are at the heart of the philosophy of our master brewers, in addition to an informed look at the latest innovations in the world of craft beer, we have the honour of being the most award-winning brewery in France.
