At the origin of the creation of the Beast, it is a story of beer lovers who, one evening of full moon, created a legend.

The creator, precursor of the craft movement in France, wanted to create a specialty beer, strong but accessible, amber without being too much so, and which stands out from the already known Belgian beers. His ambition was to propose a new offer on the market, full of character and assuming from the start its originality and duality in its recipe.

For this, he chose a brewery that would give birth to La Bête. A family and artisanal brewery located in the north of France, a few steps away from Belgium, known above all for its passion for beer, its know-how, and its pleasure to experiment.

It is thus after several experiments that the beer La Bête was born in 2008. The name of the beer, La Bête, indicates from the start the character and the high alcohol content of the beer. For this original and impactful beer, it was necessary to have a name that would catch and challenge.
